Happy October to the Sooner Model A Club

It was a beautiful sunny day for our drive to the Rock Café in Stroud

on Saturday the 24th of September. We had seven Model A cars and 18

people. The food was great and it was very interesting to see one of

the “props” from the movie “Cars.” Good food and entertainment too.

That is what we are- ‘An eating club that drives old cars’.

The Czech parade on Saturday 1 October was another nice day and we

had six cars and some new members, Randy and Theresa Bratcher,

with their new recently purchased Model A. WELCOME!!

The Sooner Model A Club Christmas party is on Sunday night, the 11th

of December, at 6:30 at the Will Rogers Garden Center, 3400 NW 36th

St, OKC. The cost is $5.00 per person for members and the Club will

pick up the difference for the meal. Of course, we will play “Dirty

Santa” for those who want to bring a wrapped “gift.” To be included

in this year’s get together, you must make your reservation and pay the

$5.00 by or at our regular club meeting on 13 November 2022.

As you all know this club runs on food.

In January 2023 we will be changing our meeting days from Sunday

afternoon to the 4th Tuesday night at 7:00pm starting January 24, 2023.
