Just today we were notified of the passing of long time club member Jack Ogle. The funeral service will be tomorrow, Saturday, at 10:00 am, at Meadowood Baptist Church, 2816 N. Woodcrest Dr., Midwest City.
The family has asked for some Model A's to be there for the service. If you can make the drive I know that the family would appreciate it. We will delay the start of the planned picnic to 1:00 to allow everyone to attend both activities that wish to do so.

We had scheduled a drive for this Saturday but everyone's weather forecast shows rain and wind for the day. We had already selected a rain date of the 6th of February and so that is what we will shoot for.
We have put together a drive to historic downtown Oklahoma City. We will first gather in front of the historic Overholser Mansion and then make our way to 7 other stops ending at the Land Run Monuments near the Bass Pro Shops.
It's winter and the weather may not cooperate for this date as well but we will hold onto this for a later date if we need it. I have also included a link to a map showing the propsed tour. We will keep everyone advised if there are any changes.
Copy this link into your browser.
On another note we had a great turnout for our first Zoom club meeting. We had 13 particpants on the call. No it is not as much fun as in person meetings but we do at least get to see and hear from everyone.
See you on the road,

We are disappointed to announce the cancellation of the 2020 fall tour. Club member Bill Harris has tested positive for Covid 19 and over 8 fellow members were exposed during the Monday morning coffee. It will be over a week before any of these others know whether they have contracted Covid as well. We have no other choice at this time than to cancel our planned activities as the tour coordinators are amoung this group. If you have made hotel reservations you will need to call and cancel them as well. Any monies taken by the club for activities will be refunded to you. Karen and Chuck will be calling all those who were scheduled to attend.
Monday morning coffee will again be suspended until further notice. The scheduled club picnic on the 17th has been moved to the 24th to give those potentially exposed time to be confirmed negative for Covid-19.
We would of course like to wish Bill Harris the best in his recovery. We would also like to thank Chuck and Don for all their hard work on planning this event. The good news is that the Sping tour is already planned!
