Oklahoma's '89er Day Celebration, is an annual April event commemorating Oklahoma's first land run, which was held on April 22, 1889, opening the Unassigned Lands of central Oklahoma to non-Indian settlement. The celebration occurs in Historic Downtown Guthrie, Oklahoma.
The Sooner Model A Club has been participating in this event for most of it's 60 plus year history. We invite you to join us there. We will line up off of Hwy33 and Walnut street in Guthrie just in front of the Jr. High School beginning at 10:30. Parade kicks off at 11:30. We will be number 27 in the line up.
Lunch to follow at Sam's Southern Eatery on South Division street.
