In July new club member Joe Gilliland bought a 1930 Murray Sedan out of California. To break in Bill Harris's new shop we started eyeing what needed work and started in. Bill Harris along with Joe Gilliland Scott Russell and Will Langford spent the next couple of weeks trying to find the items needing fixed. The door regulators and window moldings were all re-worked. The window cranks had broken off as they were so hard to raise and lower. Next up was a new wiring harness and some turn signal indicators. Brake floaters for the front brakes were installed and the brakes were adjusted. While the body work and the interior were in excellent shape the engine compartment was a mess. We pulled the radiator only to find that we needed a new one. We used Berg's for the first time and could not have been happier. Great fit and great performance. What seemed like a million other small details later we got everything buttoned up and took off for a shakedown trip 20 miles west down Rt. 66 to El-Reno Oklahoma for a famous Johnnies Onion Burger.
